I love the USB stick as there is such a variety of different effects you can create just by changing what you print into.
Looking forward to seeing what you create and seeing which medium you print into.

Craftwork Cards - Fun with Fabric

Hi I was delighted to be chosen to become a member of the Craftwork Cards Design Team in May. I will be posting regular posts on my blog, tutorials, Inspiration and much more.

I am posting a guide of how I made this baby bib gift, with matching gift box and card. I will let you into a little secret as to how I made the fabric with the "Botanical Gardens" USB stick "Heritage Rose Collection"

You will need:

  1. Craftwork Cards "Botanical Gardens "USB stick.
  2. Printable Fabric.
  3. Craftwork Cards "Heritage Rose Kit"
  4. Dies from stash.
  5. cardstock.
  6. Plain White Bib.
  7. Printer
  8. Buttons
  9. Sewing Machine.
How  to make the bib:
1.Open up your PC or laptop and open your graphics program. I have used Serif Craftartist 2 Click on insert> photo> from file
2. Go to the place on your computer where your USB files are. Click on A Pocketful of Papers Botanical Gardens and it will take you to the next page.
3. Choose Collections and  I chose Heritage Rose.
4. I chose two papers and resized them to fit an A4 sheet of printable fabric. Print onto the fabric.

5. I used a fox die that is good enough to cut through fabric.

6. Attach the fabric to the bib using fabric adhesive. You are now ready to appliqué the fabric die cut fox to your bib.

7. Now add buttons for eyes and nose and your bib is complete.

I combined the Heritage Rose Kit and the Collection from the USB to make a matching gift box and card.

A great gift for new mum, Expecting Mum, Baby Shower or even a christening.

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale

Hello me again this time sharing a make from the wonderful Delicious Doodles Challenge blog. The challenge is Dark (Image or Colour). I chose to use Dark colours for my card.

Lelli-Bot Craft Challenge #4 Ribbons and Bows

Good Morning to you all. I hope you had an amazing Bank Holiday. Are you all ready for the new school term, those of you who work in a school or have children at school? I am nearly there!!!
Today I am sharing my first challenge blog post with you for the Lelli-Bot Crafts Challenge. Today our theme is Ribbons and Bows for the month of September.
Hop over to the blog where you will find lots of gorgeous makes and all the rules to enter.
I made two cards for the challenge. I am making headway with my christmas card list....!

For this card I used one of the bauble stamps from the Frosted Christmas stamp set. I simply used a distress ink and stamped onto some patterned cream card. I used a ribbon from the kit and a pearl to decorate the top of the bauble. I used a sentiment from the stamp set underneath the bauble. I then used an accordian die from crafters companion- and pearls from the pearl kits available at Lelli-Bot Crafts to decorate the front of my card.

What I love about Sam's designs is that they can be used as a kit or you can use other products with them. Here I used the Frosted Christmas Stamp set on the base card to create a snowy background. I used one of the 6 by 6 papers in the centre of the card. I added a sentiment I created on my Silhouette Curio. I added two ribbons from the kit and a lovely gem from one of Sam's other kits. Finally I added lots of gems to the snowflakes for that christmas bling.

Delicious Doodles Challenge - White on White

Hello again another DT post from me this time it is the monthly challenge over at Delicious Doodles where this time the theme is White on White. I love this theme so many options. We are allowing the image to be coloured as this often helps.
I made  card that would work for a number of occasions. You could use for an anniversary, thinking of you, sympathy or a wedding card. This image with the Lovely Lilly Wedding bouquet is so useful.
The image is coloured with water colour markers and then I added some distress ink around to frame it. I added some stickles to add some sparkle. I added some punched foliage and flowers and some pearls.
I embossed the backing card made a bow with a die and added a sentiment from a Lelli-Bot Craft kit.

Lelli-Bot Craft Challenge #3 Christmas In August

Hi there hope everyone is surviving the 6 weeks break. We are having fun and keeping busy with as many free activities as we can. Today I would like to share with you a make for Challenge #3 over at the Lelli-Bot Crafts Challenge Blog. Our theme is easy Christmas In August using Lelli-Bot Crafts Products from the store.

I made this card using the Frosted Christmas kit and stamp set. I love the papers and toppers in the kit so I used them as my inspiration. I wanted to grunge up the kit a bit.

I cut a Marianne Dies frame from kraft card. I then versamarked and embossed with white embossing powder around the outside edge.
I then stamped the Frosted Christmas stamp set star bauble and used white embossing powder to emphasise it.
I inked around with vintage photo distress ink on the background and stamped the snow flakes from the frosted Christmas set using the same ink. I inked some twine and added to the star bauble.
I inked one of the DP from the Frosted Christmas kit to grunge it up. I stamped the holly and added to the twine as an embellishment. I used a sentiment from the kit and the star embellishment and more twine to finish the card off.

Come and join us and make a card for the challenge there is a prize of a topper kit of your choice available.

Thanks for stopping by today I really appreciate your time and comments. I hope you are inspired too. Hugs Pascale
